Welcome to GoCar Bosnia and Herzegovina. By booking or using our car rental services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Rental Requirements
The driver must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license for at least one year. An international driving permit may be required for non-EU license holders. Additional drivers must also meet these requirements and be declared during booking or at pickup.
2. Payment and Deposit Policy
At GoCar Bosnia and Herzegovina, you can rent a car with no deposit and no credit card. Payment can be made by debit card or cash upon pickup. All prices include VAT, basic insurance, and roadside assistance. Any optional extras (GPS, child seat, etc.) must be paid before or at the start of the rental.
3. Insurance Coverage
All vehicles come with basic insurance that covers third-party liability. Additional coverage such as Full Insurance (CDW, SCDW) may be offered during booking or pickup. Insurance does not cover damages caused by negligence, off-road driving, or violations of traffic laws.
4. Vehicle Pickup and Return
Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the time and location specified in your booking confirmation. Delays or early returns must be communicated in advance. Cars should be returned with the same fuel level and in the same condition as received. Late returns may result in additional charges.
5. Driver’s Responsibilities
The renter is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is used in accordance with traffic regulations. The car must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, or sub-renting. Any traffic fines, parking tickets, or toll fees incurred during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before pickup. For cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to pickup, one rental day may be charged. Refunds are processed to the same payment method used during booking.
7. Vehicle Replacement
If the booked car is unavailable due to mechanical issues or other circumstances, GoCar reserves the right to provide a similar or upgraded model at no extra cost. We aim to ensure every customer receives a reliable and safe vehicle.
8. Fuel Policy
Our standard policy is same-to-same: you return the car with the same fuel level as at pickup. Failure to do so may result in a refueling fee.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of processing your booking and ensuring rental security. We never share your data with third parties, except when required by law or insurance regulations. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any disputes arising from the rental agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the local courts.
